Headquartered in Savannah, Georgia, La Bastille is a US-based custom metalwork studio where every countertop, bar top, and range hood is conceived, cast, and finished in-house, never outsourced, never mass-produced. We ship worldwide and work directly with design teams on specification, lead times, and installation logistics from first sketch to final delivery.

For 17 years, La Bastille has partnered with interior designers, architects, and private clients to fabricate custom metal surfaces for Michelin-starred restaurants, boutique hotels, landmark cultural institutions, and the homes of discerning collectors across North America.
For specifiers, we function as an extension of your team: precise shop drawings, material samples, and finish selections delivered on a timeline you can build a project around. For residential clients, every surface is a bespoke commission, cast in zinc, brass, bronze, copper, or pewter, and finished by hand to suit the room it will live in.
Living Metals refer to metal alloys that acquire a distinctive patina over time. During this patination, these metals naturally form a protective layer that shields them from corrosion. Known as patina, this layer alters the shades of the metal's surface as it matures. Patina formation is a result of specific metals reacting with oxygen in the air, especially when exposed to natural elements. This gradual patina build-up, referred to as 'aging' or the 'patination process,' is what gives Living Metals their unique appeal.
