A range of La Bastille metal finishes

Finishes

Choose from a range of hand-applied patinas across zinc, pewter, brass, bronze, and copper, each developed to bring out the natural character of the metal. Because these are living metals, every patina continues to evolve over time, deepening in tone and texture with age and use.

A clear coat will preserve your project's original finish. However, it will prevent the natural patina that gives living metals their distinctive character over time. The right choice depends on the material, the project's location, and your preferred level of maintenance. Our team can help you determine whether a protective clear coat or a natural, evolving finish is best for your project.
